i bought some ballistic joints from ya'll with 3/4 shanks i am building an s10 with a v8 th400 1 ton axles i am being told from people on this site that they will fail and they arent strong enough wanted your input since you build them?

has anyone else used these in an application of similar weight and had any problems?
i think they will be strong enough ....but i have been wrong before.

We can't warranty them in this application because they are just too small. Upgrade them to 1" or 1.25" and you will never need to worry about them again.

direct from our website -

LIFETIME warranty on 1.25" and 1.0" shank housings against breakage. Limited LIFETIME warranty on solid nylatron races with one free replacement. Joints with 7/8", 3/4" and injection molded races carry no warranty.

i am gonna run the 1.25's on the rear if ballistic is able to work with me on an exchange the front links i have already made with the 3/4 so i am gonna leave them and see what happens hopefully nothing but time will tell.... you all talked me into changing them to the bigger ones. i think 3/4 will be ok with the kind of riding i do but i understand everyones concerns and since they are the same price why not go big or go home....right? so we will see once it is done i will surely let everyone know how they perform and if they last if not i will change the fronts to 1.25's.
