When installing these engines into our rigs, there is no need for the EVAP sensor on the top of the intake just behind the throttle body.

So you don't have to leave that pesky EVAP sensor in there or so you don't have to silicone a bolt in there, I've developed this little "kit" to eliminate the EVAP sensor and plug the hole. Simple but effective :)

In this kit, you'll get a tapered rubber plug and the retainer tab as shown in the picture below. You'll re-use the same bolt that retains the EVAP sensor.

I haven't seen all the applications of the GM EVAP and where they are located in on the engine. However, I know this fits the truck/van 6.0/5.3/4.8. It may fit others. Maybe the GTO and Corvette experts will chime in and let us know if the EVAP sensor is the same.

I wouldn't have thought they work on those engines.

I only have experience with them on the LQ4 engines.
