This is my new tow rig it is a 97 chevy crew cab dually (vortech 454) It has a 5/9 slam. and yes the air bags are on the way.

That's a cool looking rig for sure, but it just wouldn't work around here... and slamming the trailer SURE as heck wouldn't.

Why would anyone into wheelin' ever degrade a rig by lowering it like that. there are way to many people in the world contradicting themselves.

Yes I am into wheeling I am in the process of building my own rock rig right know. Why do this because I can. (jelous because you guys cant). Also here in a month when the air bags get in for the trailer and the dually It will be able to go from stock ride hight to draggin the frame. What do you all have to tow with some fag half ton. I will drag your tow rig and your offroad truck arround town while slammed draggin frame!!!

I would pay money to watch you drag that long, low load across the dam at Loon, and down to staging.

It looks nice, but I just can't imagine it would tow well over granite down to the normal unloading area... heck, at that height, it might have problems getting past the road crown into my driveway!

Different strokes for different folks... lifting tow vehicles is kinda crazy, too, IMHO...

that is why he is putting air bags on the towrig...that way he can lift it to stock height(as he said previously) if need be. That truck and trailer combo would be alot more stable going down the highway then a lifted tow rig for sure. When i gte anbother tow rig, it will either be slammed or lifted. depends on what it is and whether or not its 4wd...

all i got to say is cool truck. If you run a goose neck on it it will be much simpler to get it hooked up cause you can drag the frame to get under the hitch and then raise it up to lock it in. but any way all you people out there saying you wouldnt own one or you think they are :rainbow: then guess what? you dont have to. :flipoff2:

Have any of you guys really looked at the tow rigs back in the mid west? Most of them are lowered, or stock height with a ground effects kit put on. Most are 2 wheel drive also. They go with 2 wheeldrive and a lower stance to help with MPG. They don't have many hills to deal with and there are alot of straight long stretches where they just bury the pedal and cruise.

there are a few of those rigs around town here... I'll see if I can get a pic of one. (yes, even the PSD with a ground effects kit.)
