My buddy has a 93 F-250HD, non-turbo diesel, manual trans with a Dana 50 TTB with the automatic hubs. We think the hubs are shot becuase the front wheels won't always pull even though the shafts are turning and he is hearing popping when the wheels start to load up. We didn't have time to pull them apart since we spent most of the time trying to get the motor running from air in the fuel system.

Anyone know the cost and difficulty of swapping to manual hubs on that thing? I know nothing about Fords, I am a Dodge guy.

These rigs use the same lockout as a Dana 60 Ford front. Warn sells all ya need and they are easily installed with no real special talents required.
