I installed a 1.6 8v in my Sammy. The aluminum air intake does not fit under the hood. The rubber one from the 1.3 is gay. What are you guys running for air filter setups on your 1.6 8v? Pictures? Thanks in advance!

Thats one that uses the air hat off a civic. It also changes the filter to the other side getting it away from the exhaust maniold.

Also, I don't know what you used for motor mounts, but there are some that will lower the engine enough to get the hood closed with the factory air hat. Dodge 318 comes to mind, and I think some from petroworks get it done as well.

Intake...TBI. I live in Ohio and smog is not an issue anyway as it is not street legal,
