: Strong Hand Products...
Todd W 11-01-2009, 08:03 PM I want to get a few of the following strong hand products...
Magnetic Tab and Bracket Holder
Snake Magnet
Small Pipe Pliers
However - when I went to checkout at Trick Tools they wanted to charge me nearly 40$ for shipping these HAND tools  (and yes I want mroe than 1 of each but still.)
So, I`m looking for a better place to buy the Strong Hand line from... anyone ???
-Todd
Static-XJ 11-01-2009, 09:13 PM I see Strong Hand's 4 way Bessy type clamps in the Enco and MSC sales flyers all the time. Maybe they have the whole produce lineup? Enco always has some sort of free shipping promotion running, and MSC has the free upgrade to next day air.
PARANOID56 11-01-2009, 09:33 PM I just bought these two Magnetic Tab and Bracket Holder
Small Pipe Pliers from a local metal shop. and wow, i love these :D
i think i paid 9 bucks for the bracket holder and 14 for the small pipe pliers. check there website to see if somebody local sells them. trick tools does have cool shit, but that shipping quote is stupid. those would fit in a proiroty mail flat rate box and thats only 10 bucks

tmorgan4 11-01-2009, 11:54 PM Maybe try picking up the phone and seeing if they're willing to help make shipping more reasonable? It's obviously calculated off items in the cart but it shouldn't be $40 either.

This seems like a pretty good option to me. I've bought from Trick-Tools a number of times in the past and they are a great vendor, in fact I just got a strong hand tab/bracket holder, snake magnet and some clekos from them a couple weeks ago.
That said I also picked up a nice 90/45* angle magnet with the on off switch from my local welding supply recently and noticed a couple days ago that it's from strong hand as well so I'm betting I could get all the other stuff there too.
Wyoming9 11-02-2009, 01:36 AM i am sure your local welding suppliers could get what you want . I picked up a strong hand catalog somewhere in my travels.
Trick-Tools.com 11-02-2009, 07:13 AM Hi Todd,
Thank you for your feedback. I just sent you over a PM.
Everyone please know that we try to keep our online calculator as accurate as possible, but if you find something that seems a little out of place, we're only a PM or phone call away. I'm checking into the Strong Hand items right now. I also have a "live" UPS calculator here that I can run an order through if you'd like.
Thank you again for your support!

I saw that magnet too, and was thinking about it.. looks much nicer than the trashy ones I have :smokin:

pretty sure there were a couple different sizes, and I got the smaller one. ~4" Now I'm wishing I had bought a couple more. SOOOOOOO much better than my old angle magnet without the switch.

Good to know.
May have to add that to my order.
FYI - TrickTools "hand UPS calc" was about 52% cheaper than their site :smokin: going to call in my order.
tmorgan4 11-03-2009, 12:51 AM Good work. :) I've been pretty impressed with Trick Tools so far.
And the on/off switch on the angle magnets are a GREAT idea. :D
