This may seem like a very elementary question for most, but i am totally confused.

The previous owner installed Warn Manual locking hubs in place of the automatic hubs that came standard on this truck. When I lock the hubs, it doesnt seem like it is going into four wheel drive, and the push buttons on the dash do not light up.

I am not really savvy on 4x4 systems and I hope that I can find the answer here.

Thanks in advance.

Jesse

the light refers only to the t-case. check it.

your hubs are not the issue.

you cant bitch because he told you what the problem was and you dont know what he's talking about.
check your transfer case
it comes after your transmission, before your driveshaft.

The motor that shifts your transfer case might be froze up.

Locking the hubs has nothing to do with the pushbuttons on the dash, they only control the transfer case, locking the hubs only couples the axle to the wheel hub, this does not engage 4x4.
If pushing the button isn't doing anything, you most likley have transfer case shift motor issues.
