383 Stroked

I have an 89 Chevy K5 Blazer with a 383 stroker TBI. I have a 40mm throttle body on it right now. It's acting as if it's not getting enough fuel and starts to jerk when I let in on the throttle. So was just wondering if I need to get a bigger throttle body or if it's something else I need to fix? And what would the best cam to put in the engine as well.

Might get more help if your title more accurately reflected the subject matter

"Need TBI Help on 383" or something like that.......

has it ever run well with this body?

did it run well before this body?

the more details you give, the better we can help.

I ran a 383 on the stock TBI and injectors, stock chip also, and it ran pretty good. I'm sure it would have ran alot better with some mods though.

Go do some reading at www.tbichips.com He has some good info, and is preety much the only one around to tune a TBI. However, I've heard many mixed reviews.

You probably won't get it running anywhere near it's potential without a good cam and a custom chip. However, for an idea check out this guys thread. He got it working eventually, but he dumped a lot of money into it. He figured he would have been time and money ahead to just carb it and have fun. http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114014&highlight=383+stroker
