I have seached around but haven't come up with anything.

What are you guys running in your flatties for a radiator with a chev neck design? (inlet passenger lower and outlet driver upper). The couple I have found are way too tall....

Thanks for any input...

I dont have a flattty but I know a lot of guys way way over pay for alum cross flow radiators.

Speedwaymotors.com sells alum radiators starting at 109.00.

22,24,26,27,28,31 widths. they are 19 tall. They are built for stock car racing primarily.

They are two core, one inch wide and work well.

I run a 26 inch in my IMCA stock car with motors that are 15-1 compression, 406-436s.

If your stock radiator is in decent condition, they actually work very well. You just need to have a shop move the inlet/outlet for you. I ran that way for years with a 231 and 225 motors.

I am running a radiator from autozone, IIRC its for a 1970 nova. I have no idea on the PN though. Heres a pic. I dont have any close ups though. If you are using this on a stock frame, you WILL have to notch the frame a lil bit, but it fits great otherwise. It is wider than the stock rad, so I have it mounted without cutting the grill up, but it covers a lil bit of the headlight buckets. No grill mods needed on mine, but you will need to run an electric fan to keep clearance for you water pump. This rad easily has kept my 4.3 cool in Moab in June, so I feel confident that it would even keep a SBC cooled if thats what you run. Price is about $130 or so.

I went with a PRP aluminum cross flow, double pass rad.
Inlet & outlet are on the passenger side, wich makes everything more easy. (My engines is 5.3L)

Yep as someone else said. Use a stock car rad. Thats whats in mine. Do you want some measurements? The rad i used before was out of a early 60's stang. Of course some mounts have to be made.

direct replacement radiator for a 68 mustang is just the right size to fit between the headlights frame and clear the hood. I went with a northern 2 row aluminum one both inlet and outlet are on the pass side filler in the center.
