: dana 60 external locking hub
Wilymeister 09-25-2002, 11:51 AM I picked up an old style dana 60 latley and it is complete except for one locking hub. A new set is 200$ and just a little much after dropping the cake for the 60. The existing is a selectrode with an 8 bolt mounting pattern and the stub is a 30 spline. Yeah I already tried the wanted board, this is going under my 92 club cab 3/4 ton. Bill @ 530-573-8958
FULLSIZE 09-25-2002, 11:24 PM sorry dude, your fawked. they haven't made those for along time. i could find the hub your lookin for, but it'll cost you your 60 :flipoff2: i'll see if my freind keven has any laying around.;)
Wilymeister 09-26-2002, 12:37 PM Thanks for checkin that out for me Fullsize. Another option may be to convert it over to internal style hubs( I have a new set of these in the garage) Anyone know if this is possible without changing the spindle?
FULLSIZE 09-26-2002, 01:22 PM try postin that question in general 4x4 also. ;)

I called them a couple of months ago and they quoted me about 130.00 for a pair of Selectros.

Wilymeister 09-26-2002, 04:01 PM Thanks for the hookups guys, I'm trying to cross reference the bearing and seals to see if a newer style internal hub will work first. But If I can find an old style selectrode for cheap, thats the best way to go.
440-fide Ramcharger 09-27-2002, 03:42 PM They are definately still available. Milemarker makes them. I just got part number 11034-01 for my front Dodge 60. I called Milemarker to make sure they were right. 4WPW can get them for under $150. I only gernaded one after 10 years of abuse. Sorry, but I am keeping the other for a spare. Good Luck,
Wilymeister 09-30-2002, 12:24 PM Thanks for the info guys,I'mgonna order a set of Milemarkers next week.
Wilymeister 10-02-2002, 07:09 AM Standup Guy at winches plus broke up a set of hubs, sold me the one I needed for 62.50, best prices around too.

The internal (Chevy) and external (Dodge) bearing hubs use the same spindle . . .
FULLSIZE 10-17-2002, 11:50 PM so by changing to a chevy or later dodge style rotor/hub, i can have internal hubs?

I have twoexternal hubs from a dodge d60. One says power train products on it and the other says dualomatic or something like that. Changing to 35 spline outers and drive flanges.
FULLSIZE 10-18-2002, 02:40 PM so sell me your hubs. how much?:D
Brawler 10-18-2002, 08:17 PM How much they worth to ya? Going out of town this weekend but will be back tuesday. If you want them send me a pm with a price and they are yours. Give me a decent price and i'll throw in the stubs also.
