Just wondering if anyone is running or has ran the bonz eye springs? I have been pondering doing yj's or bonz eyes. Right now I have spoa with my stock springs and they are all jacked up now. I knew it wouldn't take long to do, but any info or opinions would be great.
Thanks,
Jake

Yj's are nice and cheap, and work great.

My brother runs a set of Bonz eyes with a RUF kit. We call it the Japanese Cadillac. Nicest riding Samurai I have ever been in.

I run them on all 3 zuks I have. Do the YJ set up. Cheaper and ride and flex better. I will be switching to the YJ's in the future.

I have been looking at doing the yj also, but do the stock yj have military wrap and handle the spoa very well. I also looked at getting a set of rubicon express 1.5 over stocks. Anybody have experience with them??

Im running the Rubicon Express 1.5's in the front of my junk (1madzuk hooked me up with a sweet set!). They do need weight tho, sprung and unsprung, to flex as well as stock YJ's. They definetly help out with the steering/bumpstop issues of the "flat" stockers for they actually have an arch to them. HTH

I don't know about Bonz Eye springs but stock YJs will twist up bad in the rear.
I ended up with Rancho YJ lift springs in the rear. Yes they are stiffer and don't flex quite as well, but they hold up. What good are flexy springs if they are "s" shaped after one wheeling trip.

I ran stock YJ's for 3 years and had no issues with wrap running a 1.3, 6.4's, and 5.13's. If you are concerened with axle wrap just build or buy a trac bar and you will be set. Much cheaper and better, even if you want to upgrade your springs in the future.

ppazmrf, what are you running in the rear? I am really leaning toward the bonz eyes becuase by the time I buy the rubicon express 1.5 and both yj kits f/r, I would actually save money with the BE's.

I am now running XJ's in the rear and they definetely required a trac bar. Like I said before I ran YJ's all the way around with no issues whatsoever.

So with the yj's does it matter by the year or front or rear? Not sure if they change in hieght or length? Any info would be great.

TT 6 pack rear YJ or anti wrap bar.
