Not in the bay area, but closer than Placerville is Evil Genious Racing in West Sacramento. I've seen a few of their cages and they look really good. They mostly do spec Miata race cars and other road racing stuff, but the owner said they do 4x4s on occasion.

FC fabrications in Stockton did a nice job on my cage and my brothers cage. The price was also very reasonable.

If you can get it up to Reno i highly recommend Trent Fab. they are an awesome shop and built me a sick cage. Also in Sacramento is SillyFab. he is on the board here, hit him up he does really good work. But as far as in San Fran i know of none.

hahahahha I don't want to know about any tube bending in that town :D

RE cage work: If you don't want to make the trip because you have funds but not the time, I do offer a pickup and return service if need be. ;)
