My step daughter has a 2004 Cherokee with a 4.0 and a auto. From time to time it just wont start. If you undo the battery and wait 5 min or so and put it back together it resets the computer and it's good to go agine. Is the computer bad???

I'm assuming you mean Grand Cherokee. You may look towards the anti-theft system. Maybe try the spare key for awhile.

I think it is a Grand. It has had a key problem in the past. It dosn't use a phob though.
