The meeting and workshop schedule has been released for all four So Cal Forests. These begin as early as October 24, 2001.
The comments to date have been sorted and srchived for public review on the main Forest Planning Website:

Workshop participation is most important for the off-road community, as these workshops are where the plan revisions will be determined: expansion or reduction of off-road recreation opportunity.
You can be assured the anti-off-road community will be well represented in these workshops, and they will push their view of non-motorized recreation priority and Wilderness/Wildlands.
Review the public comments and updated maps to keep current on the planning process.
Participate in the planning, or plan on losing all motorized access through apathy.
