I ran a extended slip yoke from procomp which lengthened the stock drive shaft for the 6" suspension lift for almost 5 years. About 4 months ago I put a 14FF in the back and had a custom driveshaft made with the 1350s. Now the seal that wraps around the yoke has a visible gap on the top and seems to be compressed on the bottom. Big surprise the things leaking. I figure I need to change the bearings for the output shaft and the yoke but could this have been caused by the driveshaft guy making the shaft to short or something? Or is it jsut a strange coincidence? Possibly from the new flexy rear springs I have?
