at least you honest...
I can't see whats so complicated about the government revoking water rights that were garanteed to someone by that very same government.
You can buy into all the "environmental" hype published by our unbiased, liberal media and the "poor little sucker fish" and how the "environmentalists" are trying to save the fish - or you can read the facts...
The water rights were garunteed to the people by the Government, the very same government that turned off their water.
The government/Eco-Nazis have tried to buy the land at pennies on the dollar from the farmers, in an efort to get them to leave the area and get into a city where the they can be controlled easier.
If the "environmentalists" really cared about the environment, why would they jeopardize the life cycles of more than 600 migratory birds to save 1 fish?? a fish that has obviously survived this long, must be doing something right..
How bout endangering the lives and livelyhoods of all the farmers, their families, their children, and all the rest of the countries economy that depends on their crops and livestock..
I'm 100% convinced that this has nothing to do with the ESA. This is an attempt at forcing socialistic ideas and control on the American People. Regulate the people into doing what you want them to... We can't live with out water, take it away, put it in the cities, and you have now hearded people into a pen, no different than animals...
Oh wait, WE are animals too!! How bout we put farmers on the ESA list, then NOONE can bother THEM!! not even the government...
Get the facts and you'll see what I'm talking about...Unfortunately, Its going to get a lot worse, before People get off their asses and do something about it...
"The American people will never knowingly adopt
socialism, but under the name of liberalism they
will adopt every fragment of the socialist program
until one day America will be a socialist nation
without ever knowing how it happened".

candidate and one of the founders of the ACLU---

Why would you post that! Are you trying to be a jerk or are a fawkin greenie. This is a land use forum dedicated to issues concerning land use rights and if your not willing to educate yourself on the topics, then dont bother posting.

Oregon's Klamath Basin farmers have found it's too late to get crops
underway for this growing season, after the federal government cut off their
annual water supply, claiming sucker fish habitat might suffer. However,
consistent with the "law of unintended consequences," it now appears that
California's Tulelake Wildlife Refuge will suffer from the irrigation
shutoff, and biologists for the area now estimate that up to a thousand
American Bald Eagles and 25,000 waterfowl will perish due to disease and
starvation.
