: ARB Installation Question

Not sure if this is hardcore (it's a locker question) or not (it's referencing a D35...) but here goes:

I'm installing an ARB into a D35 (I know - turd polishing - it was cheap) and in an effort to make it live a little longer I'm trussing it with a TNT truss. The catch is, that the truss crosses over the case where ARB says to put the bulkhead fitting (1.25" from the cover flange). Any problem in moving the bulkhead fitting forward another inch or two towards the pinion? That would give me plenty of clearance for the truss.

Also - the truss is going to cover the original vent opening in the driver side tube. Can the axle be vented anywhere? Any reason not to cap the hole in the tube and vent it in the pumpkin?

basically as long as you can get the little copper hose from the lockker to where you want to put it your fine..

Just make sure the copper tube is not in contact with any part of the housing or moving part, where it might rub a hole in the tube. The vent can be moved, just not over the ring gear.
