There's a gun on here that's in California,=ALL guns through FFL
I live in Nevada= F2F is all you need for private party
Would he be able to come into Nevada(w/ the rifle) and sell as a Nevada F2F private party sale?
there's a 700 SPS I'd interested in ,but I'm not going to jump thru Comifornia's hoops for it

No. Crossing state lines with the intent to sell FTF is against Fed law.
Unless you are both residents of the same state, they need to go through an FFL.
He could bring it to your FFL in NV and have your FFL transfer to you.

I thought out of state HAD to be sent from an FFL to an FFL? Either way, no FTF.

I have bought MANY long guns across state lines with no issues...even filled out papers for some of them...

You can buy long guns FROM an FFL if you're from out of state.
I thought out of state HAD to be sent from an FFL to an FFL? Either way, no FTF.
Some FFL's have this policy, not all. But it's their policy, not law.
