Was towing my trailer when my brakes sort of "disappeared" on me. I got out and found out I was completely out of brake fluid, so I started looking for a leak.

Not sure what the part is called, which is where I need help - it's the little metal "splitter", for lack of better word, on the rear axle where the brake line comes from the master cylinder to the rear of the Jeep, then two line split off of it, one to each rear wheel.

On top of the rear axle, driver's side, where all the brake lines connect.

Yeah, that's leaking. I need to get another one, but I have no idea what it's called.

For a 2006, non-ABS.

Proportioning valve?

Nah, the only proportioning valve the FSM mentions is the one right under the fluid reservoir.

EDIT:

Got it fixed. It wasn't the block, the metal brake line formed a small crack right on the flare. Thanks for the help!

Oh alright, I've always got the 'Brake Line Block' the proportioning valve, I'm in the wrong I guess. I'll remember the proper name for next time.:D

I'm actually running new brake lines right now on the rear. Ended up rebuilding most of my D35 after I busted the ring bolts off.
