Is a 80's waggy front 44 the same spring center to center as a 87 wrangler? It looks to me to bolt up to wrangler front springs

Yeah but you have to make sure that the anti-swap pin is in the correct position.

If you two tool boxes would read his post instead of his post count, you'd see that he's not even asking about Waggy springs, but about the Dana 44 attached to them, and no, it's not a total bolt in, but it's close, 1/2" per side, I outboarded my springs, some grind and move the pads in, some run the axle off center (hack job) And yes, you can find all of this by using the http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/images/top_search.gif (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/search.php?s=)

Yeah, but if we keep just answering "search" then all the search will provide is a bunch of threads that say "search" I wonder how many hits you'd get if you did a search for "search"........oops, I think I just broke the internet......actually, only 1480, I'm shocked.

there 1 inch wide and they bolt up to anything as long as you have chrome shackles
