If you want to do a good job, I would not say it is easy. Lot of work, but it can be done if you know what connectors you are going to need.

Get your self a good manual for the donor vehicle that has the wiring schematic in it and study it thoroughly before starting anything. Everything should be pretty well color coded in the harness.

Time, patience and attention to detail is whats required. You may want to do the same to the YJ harness in the engine bay.. ie stripiing out all the un-used circuits and cleaning that up too while you are at it.

do a search on TPIGUY.
his site is literally titled: "How to fuel inject any engine"
and works off of GM parts

I agree with what rkcrawl said, and as long as you know a bit about electricity, you should be able to figure it out. That's the way I did it, but I have always worked in the electrical field. I can't believe what people pay for those pre-made harnesses. I have wired four TBI swaps now, and it gets easier every time.:D Looks like you're too far away, or I could do it for ya.

check out the diy-efi.org site. They have wiring diagrams and the pinout locations for the 7747 comp. Site also has info on the sensors and such. The thirdgen. org site is also helpful. I'm running a painless harness in my but I have two buddies with tbi setups that were built from the junkyard, = less money. Might also check into customefi.com also.

I have recently put a tpi 350 in my YJ and WAS going to use the donor harness. The harness was in great shape, had all the connectors and everything. I purchased the factory manual for the donor and sat down to do it, but after two days of just sitting there and staring at the thing I bit the bullet and ordered a Painless. After it arrived it took approx. an hour to turn the motor over.

So i guess that what i am trying to say is: I recommend the aftermarket harness. It's brand new, you know what your getting, it's labeled(plug and chug) and you can almost bet that there will not be any faulty wires.Just my opinion, but what would i know i'm just a nebie. :flipoff2:
