Huh, that's in my hometown. I wonder what shop that is in?

There's a decent chance I may know the operator and or supervisor.

Don't forget teardown, moving, and shipping charges.

That is only 2D progaming, piece of cake.

You're moe than welcome to park it in our shop. My brother and I both can program it. It'd be nice to not have to go down the road to get our lazer work done:p

I can house, operate and program it.
At least I can operate and maintain a Mazak machine
with panasonic controls.
just don't know if there is enough electric at the street to
fire it up.

If you get a Mazak Machine I would'nt go over 1500 watts.
we had a 2000 watt machine and it was 3 times the cost
to maintain, compared to a 1500 watt machine, which still is
very capable of metal that ranges between .002 thousands to 1/2" plate.

If I didn't already have a relatively sweet gig here in SLO, I'd be all over that! Just about everything I design and build (lots of S.S. stuff) comes off a laser table. Be sure to let me know if you do bring that beast to the county!

I'll donate the proceedes from the sale of blood/left kidney to help the cause.sweet Ill also give you some custom work to afford that puppy.

I actually thought about getting one of those Plasma CAM machines last year and starting a business. Camo, where are you located? I have cash to help with the deal, can learn to operate it and can handle the selling aspect of any business. I am pretty serious, this would be cool. I wonder what the reserve is on that.

There are only a few people on this board openly offer to pony up $ for to see em get started, with no real concern of pay back....

If your serious id pony up some $ to the cause.... I know that it takes the right equipment to be competative... I only loaded half the page and i knew you wern't talking smak... I dont give a poop what you cut, run that mother 7x24 and make some green.....

PM if your serious....

SLO is a long commute for me. But it would be nice to be near the ocean.

Just a piece of advice for you, choose your business partner with more scrutiny than you would choose a wife. I've been bent over and abused by a business partner that knew how to screw me better than he knew how to work. A bank is not a bad partner when it comes down to it. Hiring someone to operate a machine is cheaper than bringing in a liability/partner.

Should just sell shares in it to everyone on PBB kinda like Green Bay and the Packers...

beerisgood

yeah I like the selling stock and you could use the proceedes to go further than just buying one machine if your intested.
