Planning a trip to co springs this spring. Wondering what kinda wheelin there is close to there. I'm wanting to be able to drive to the trails from Co.springs. I know there is all kinds of trails in CO. but would like to have a guide that actually knows the trails and is willing to show me around some trails.

Thanks for any help yall can give.

il be overseas or i would. check out traildamage.com for good lists of all the trails. if you want really hardcore stuff most of it is a couple hours away except independance trail system in penrose thats about a half hour away. if you go up old stage road behind the broadmoore hotel theres some easy to intermediate trails. also check out woodland park and divide for lots of trails within 1/2 hour. carnage and chinamans are about 2 hours away as well as lots of other good stuff.

I've been looking at traildamage. It looks like i could hit alot around there but most are easy trails. Thats mostly why i posted here to get a group of locals to wheel with and to guide me around...

Thanks for the offer. Wish u could be there

I live here in the springs as well.
I would be more than happy to attend this adventure of yours.
What kind of trails are you looking to tackle? Are you set up for trail riding or more hard core rock climbling? I am set up more so for trail riding.
However, not to much that i am not willing to attempt.
When was you planning on making the trip out this way?

Thanks should be around april sometime. I got a TJ 105wb on 38tsl's.I like trail riding but some harder stuff would be great.I really don't care just don't want to be out there wheelin alone. It would really suck to be out there and have a break down all alone.

Well It sure looks like you are set up for a lot more than i am really able to do. however, i am up for most any trail you can throw at me, minus the rock crawling. The rig is not set up for that. I can have my brother and his friends attend this trip as well. They would have dodge, and gmc trucks, I drive a Isuzu 4x4 pick truck 4 cyl. mpfi, 5 spd manual tranny. I have a 3" body lift installed t-bars cranked, running 31x10.50x 15's other than that it is all stock. Suspension lift comes latter this spring or summer. I have said it before and i will say it again. I WILL PUT MY TRUCK UP AGAINST ANY VEHICLE ANY TIME ANY WHERE ON MOST ANY TRAIL. It seems that all the guy's with the big toys can out do my little truck are sadly mistaken. They may have the ponies and go and do things that i can not but i can go and do things they can not. so it all equals out.
I might even be able to get the guy's from Denver to come as well. so long as we can get everything more detailed as to a date, time, location. and depending upon when you plan on arriving and where we decide to go there may still be some snow up there. Most likely will be snow still on the ground. Sounds like a fun time to me.
