I am trying to track down a good used welding table in my area, but I don't really know what they are called. I have only seen them in tech schools and such, but they are a table top that is approx 2" thick and has a grid of square holes in it to pound down clamps to hold your work pieces. The ones that I have seen in the past were around 5' square or so. Any ideas what the actual name for these are?

Acorn table. Good luck finding one used for a good price, around here people think they are worth their weight in gold.

Meh, I have a taste for "retired" Newport Research tables.
