Our club is planning a run down to Windrock in March.

Looked at the coalcreekohv web site but it did not tell me much.

Can anyone tell me about the park beyond what the web site has to say ?

Its a great place! And really awesome if you have never been. Its huge with plenty of types of trails. They got some really hard shit like rattle rock, rail trail, and atomic ridge. I would recomend at least 42s one tons, locked and a winch to do those and have fun. Smaller will work if you want to be on one trail all day. The rest is good trail riding and a little bit of tougher stuff mixed in. Make sure you get a map cause it is spread out over 76,000 acres. If you camp stay at windrock park the camping is top notch. We are going to Windrock this weekend Hollar at us on this websit when you come down we maybe going up there tncrawlers.com

I forget the trail number, but you take the gravel road all the way out the ridge like your going to trail 12, its on the left a couple of hundred yards before the gravel road crosses over the highway. I will get the trail # for you if someone else does not post it up

the trail number would be great.

what are some other good trails to run.

been on , 3, 39, rail trail, and i think 15. is 15 the one that is a left off the paved road up the way up from the parking lot?

I've seen vids of trails with waterfalls but cant ever seem to find them. Just about get lost every time we go.

Trail 16 is the one with the water fall. Its a good trail ride. 12 is good too, a little tight in some areas but I run rockwells and do fine. If you do 12 make sure you go in on 10. If you look on the map atomic ridge is right around trail 12. I have not seen it yet but was told by a buddy that rides there alot, that they ran a dosser down 39, which we know it as cadalic hill, down to where 39 where it splits and goes to the rail, whick sucks, but Im sure with a little riding on it, it will get good again. There is a good trail that runs past the start of rattle rock, its actually the rest of 15 we call it little school bus. 21 is some good trail riding with a small rock garden a little ways through it but after that its mostly trail riding. But if you had 4 rigs on a ride it would take a few days to do all of what we have talked about in this thread

yeah last time we were there it looked liked they bull dozed the exit of 39.

We ran rail backwards bc we didnt know what trail we were on. We arent big enough to make it up the rocks down by the creek crossing. so this time we plan on running it backwards again and turning around and going back up.

16 is long and boring the last time i was on it. except if you get in the creek. Is that were you head to the water fall?

I have seen videos of another trail with water falls on it, but not sure where its at.
