I read a few post on serial numbers but none dealing with a Model 151.

I was looking at a Model 151 but backed out of buying it. Now a friend wants to get it but there is a title issue needing to be resolved first.

The owner has a State title for the vehicle but the information plate that is attached to the dash has been Removed / stolen.

Is there another location to find the serial number on this vehicle?

Or what would happen if we took the title to the Motor vheicle department and reported the ID plate stolen.
If someone is using this plate to get a tag this could start some shit.
