Does anyone have a pair of asin hubs or know were to get some in Texas? I have a pair of superwinch hubs if you want to trade:flipoff2:
I had a pair of asins but when they put the locker in the front they couldn't get the asins to fit back up:rolleyes:

That's weird the installation of a locker shouldn't have any effect on your locking hubs.
I always get my asins off dead mini trucks, I run mini truck knuckles and disc brakes, therefore fine spline birfs.
Also you can use some of the parts off the asin hubs they used on Samurais, some of those parts are interchangeable.

Will those work/fit just like the non IFS hubs??? If so I know of a yard that has them stacked like cord wood. (Ok in a big pile of “A” arms with parts of hubs attached)

I have the front mini truck disk swap so I'm running the mini truck knuckles. Will the IFS truck hubs work? Are they any different then the straight axle hubs?
When the pulled the shafts to put the lockright in they removed the hubs...when they were putting everything back together they said that they couldn't get the hubs to work right and go back on:rolleyes:
Theres really not that many junkyards down here, much less yotas...there is one or two though, and I might check to see if they have any 4x4 toyota trucks...maybe get some spare birfs while I'm at it:flipoff2:
Thanks

The aftermarket (Warn, Superwinch etc.) show a different part number for the IFS and the Solid axle............

No, they will not. Different spline count, don't remember the numbers but they are definitely different and don't interchange. You have to get solid axle hubs.

IFS hubs will not work on birfields. The spline diameter is larger on IFS than mini/60/40 etc. The external casting is same as are most parts of lock head but the key mehcanisms are different.
