I know this has been talked about BUT I can't get a narrow enough search to find it.

a speed shop here has ford 9" billet ends from ford motor sport and the reatiner plate for $50. they are closing them out. the problem is that they are the 2.8"ish bearings. I am trying to build a dana 60 with 35 spline.

if I am notmistaken you can NOT run 35 spline with the ends right? are they to small? if so what ends do I need to run 35 splines? are they the Big ford style or the new big ford style.

is there any way to make these "small" (?) billet ends work with 35 spline? they are normally $80 for the billet ends and that doesn't come with the retainer plates.

thanks for the info. and I did search it is just 9"s and 60s have been talked about so much....

You need the larger or "Big Nine Ends" I had this done to my D60 and Currie built it. You might want to give them a call and ask a tech, tey are pretty cool about answering questions and they have the correct ends you need either in Billet or refurbed.

I beleive these ends were used on the Torinos

If you want to run Dana 60 front spindles and disk brakes with some weld on flanges I can help you. I am already producing parts for 9"/D44 31/30 spline hybrids, and the 9"/D60 35 spline kits will be available soon.

I did this to my Dana 60 rear. I bought my ends and axle shafts from Currie. The Ford 9" big bearing ends I think was like $70 bucks for both of them.
