That would be the #40 General Lee

There wasn't really a full build thread here, but there are these.

Wonder what happened to it since it sold. I wish that my house had sold sooner, I would have bought it.

Actually, This is Formula Toy #1. It was built by Mike Hendricks along with Camo and Camo's wife Lisa competed it for 2 years.
Here's the build:

Damn, the front crossmember and dimples under the grill hoop are identical. :emb:

Both seem to be MIA these days though. :(

so what is the hotest looking F-toy

The street-legal prerunner-type FToy that was on sale awhile back for about $30k was very clean, pretty damn hot looking.

The TinBenders raffle FToy (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=512668) from '06 or '07? was pretty damn sweet.

For an early FToy, the WyoTech FToy had a lot of great sheet metal work.

#20 (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=653779) had some great dimple, tube, and fabrication work by Brett Porter/ToolBox Guy.

Brian Ellinger's #44 (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=562295) and Hobie Smith's #10 (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=250533) cars (and Marlin's #28 (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=770379) that John James drives) are among the lightest--and KOH competitors--and that's super hot in my eyes!!!
