People run everything available, so instead of asking what everyone uses, figure out what YOU will be using your rig for, and then buy a tire that is suitable for what you are wheeling.

For example, if you DD 95% of the time, don't buy Boggers.

If you plan on wheeling mud every day, don't buy All Terrains.

Will be trail ridin, muddin, and rocks when I can find them. Buggy will never see the street.

Around here grooved Swamper SXs, LTB, TSLs, and IROKs are popular for the trails and any sticky compound tire for the rocks.

Ok, the above list is a good start. I will elaborate on it based on the further above list of trail conditions.

IROKs: If you don't do a lot of rock crawling IROKs probably won't be your best bet. They do good all around, but their main focus is rock crawling. Their main pitfall is as one person put it "I don't want to buy a brand new tire that looks like it is at half tread". The tread amount in the IROKs is lacking, and due to this I have seen them turn into racing slicks in slick trail/clay mud. Where guys with TSLs have had no issues, the IROKs gummed up. Not to mention there are limited sizes.

TSL SXs: Sidewall strength is where these tires really shine, you don't do rock crawling so that eliminates one thing. The other one would be roots, do you wheel a lot of trails with roots sticking out that would slice a sidewall? If so you may want to look into the TSL SXs, keep in mind they come in WIDE sizes and cost $$$ a bit more.

TSL: The good old TSL will probably be your best bet. It has a rigid bias ply construction so unless you live in root hell you won't have issues with sidewalls being sliced. It does good in the mud, and is perfect for trail riding. They even perform well on the rocks when those times arise. It performs better in all areas than the IROKs do if you aren't planning on doing a lot of dry rock crawling.

LTBs: Depending on what size tire you will be running you may want to consider LTBs for their odd tire sizes. They also aren't as much of a hit on the wallet as the other swampers. The outer lugs in the TSL design on the LTBs are staggered more to the outside so they are a tiny bit more aggressive than a regular TSL. The tread goes down the sidewall further also allowing for more sidewall protection, but nothing like the SXs. The downside of the LTBs is they come with less tread, and in some cases have been known to wear faster than the TSLs.

i have noticed not a lot of people run BFG's but myself swear by them. The KM2's are a great all around tire. They have great tread life(even though u said it wont see the street), nice side wall thickness, cleans out well, and when aired down will wrap around anything.

oh and if you do hit the road between trails, they are very quiet.

Iv seen your build and i would suggest the pitbull rockers.

Iv never ran them but seen them hook up the best in trails, rocks, snot, everything.

search for the thread on them in the General4x4 section. Lots of great info there.
