Aloha folks, I have a mostly 83 cj-7 with a gm 151 four banger(sad huh?) I just picked up a 258 six cyl. and would like to know if anyone knows if the engine mount brackets on the frame are the same and if not, where to get one. thanks in advance. pmrf71 <IMG SRC="smilies/sleep.gif" border="0">

The mounts are not the same I can tell you that much. www.mountainoffroad.com (http://www.mountainoffroad.com) makes a set of real strong mounts for that application or you might want to try and find somebody who has swapped out their 258 and may have the frame mounts laying around.
