How long does it usually take for the Red Star to "take"?? It's approaching 48 hours and I haven't noticed my red star yet.

Be patient, he'll get to you. Not sure if he's off competing this weekend or not, that can slow things down.

No. Then I got the note right after paying, so I followed with an email, then another forwarding the paypal pmt # and put my member name in both. I must not be the first, else the reminder right AFTER paying wouldn't be there. :flipoff2:

Well there ya go. Baseball Rangers are AL West, Cowgirls are NFC East...I didn't know if I was east or west. The confusion was too much; I just clicked.

It's been a week with no word and no red star. Is it time to think about maybe considering possibly getting somewhat ready to eventually become concerned?

Playing with my new "attach"-ability. Broken Slinky:
Busted the upper control arm mount at the diff and the axle rotated about 100*

you rotate that more you will have some pretty damn good ground clearance.:p

That pinion looks really steep to me, however If it works than run it. Do you ever get any vibration from the rear driveshaft?:flipoff2:

No vibration at all since the ujoint snapped, destroying the yokes in the process. Who'd a thunk a u-joint couldn't handle 100 degrees of bend?:flipoff2:

The first clue that something was wrong (aside from the fact that it seemd incredibly difficult to back down the too-steep hill that had just scared the pee outta me in my needs-a-better-cage Samurai) was when someone yelled, "Hey, something fell off," and he ran up to me and handed over the rear driveshaft.

BTW if ya couldn't tell for sure, that pic is from the FRONT of the axle. She rotated too far and I lost some clearance. :flipoff2: I did manage to limp her back to civilization and drive up onto a trailer for the trip home. But it took some winchin' and draggin' to get me to a point where I could shore things up well enough to drive....slowly.
