I never had rocker protection and mine are freaking smashed. There was a guy with a yellow Jeep who just cut his off. Anyone have any pics of that? Or any other Jeep with the rockers just cut off totally?

You really need to do more than just cut the rockers off... Take a look at H8mondays jeep, he did a real cool rocker increasing his clearance at least 6" , might be the same Jeep your thinking of.

I think you might be thinking of H8Monday's yellow YJ.

There was recent thread on here, Paul Nasvik(Spelling??) just did it to a blue TJ.

Try searching.. I bet you'll find at least a few threads.

you've got some pretty hefty
"re-enforcement of the body issues" when you cut 'em up...

you could just run some angle iron along the bottom of the rocker. THere are tons of write-ups on that here.

Curious about your gas tank setup. I see the filler on the side of the tub... is your tank in the bed or still under it?

i moved the stock gas tank up, cut hole in floor so half the tank is above the floor and half is below. it kinda works. the lack of slope on the filler neck makes it hard to fill completely..It was cheaper than buying a fuel cell.. next time i would just buy the fuel cell and mount it along the same lines..

what a waste of time to cut up ur rockers like that. just learn to use rock sliders if it is that bad or give it more lift or just raise the body it would be the same thing. Nasvik. some one needs to get a life or come work on my jeep. it would be more productive.

Rocksliders == works but still have steel to get hung on
give it more lift == Raise COG
Raise the body == Raise COG, stress body mounts
