How do you guys keep the fluid from pissing out of your power steering pump? When you at extreme angles, damn near flopped Or even flopped or rolled.

Everytime I'm at a extreme angle fluid pisses out on the cap on the power steering pump. You know that breather hole on the top? It acts like a cut artery. The underside of my hood will never rust. Its has a nice coating of PS fluid.

I thought about plugging it with a screw or something. Or searching for a cap that doesn't have one.

Get a replacement cap that doesn't have a breather hole.

My 4.0L PS pump cap doesn't have a "breather" hole. It is the factory steering pump.

Did that. Now what's happening is when I turn all the way to the left (Ram collapsed) the resivior bubbles over in fluid. I said ok well it eventually push out the excess fluid. But damn it still leaks.. My engine compartment is a mess, covered in oil and dirt.

Did you install it recently??..Mine is doing it too, on a PSC setup...I figure it will eventually get all the air out and settle down...Get you a soda bottle to cath the run off and zip tie it somewhere...empty the bottle regularly, and you can regulate if it is a steady amount of fluid coming out , or if it is getting a little less each time and its just purging any air that is left...Since you have a ram, Im guessing its an after market steering setup. I WOULD NOT run it with out a breather cap(Thats me), because the air needs to escape the system...I do like that Spydertrax valve posted above, Ill have to look into adding it...
