does anyone make a plate that has the mounting holes and the slot for the cable in it that is just a plate that can be used to fab off of? what i want is just a flat plate that is drilled and slotted to use to fab a winch bumper for my fj40/buggy project. this would be easier than drilling and then cutting the slot with my torch like i did for the one on my jeep. i have never seen a bare plate like i want but i thought maybe someone here might know of one. thanks

Try a surplus Humvee winch mount, it's pretty close to what you are looking for. Otherwise, the flatbed mount for an 8274 is the most versitile, just a huge piece of angle iron with the holes in the right spots.
