Patman 08-15-2001, 11:09 AM How's that Whiplash Kit drive?
And did they redesign the Trackarm mount, or is it still that little whimpy bolt on heim bracket?
Truck looks Truly
I like it.
Rudezuk 08-15-2001, 12:02 PM Well this isnt truly the whiplash kit...it started out that way, then Scott at Extreme Gear off road did the D70/D60 swap for me and we changed a bunch of stuff over to stock 3/4ton dodge. So basically i have a 1/2ton truck with 3/4, 1ton stuff under it. They had done some funky drop pitman we changed that to a Skyjacker drop pitman arm and the Skyjacker trac bar mount and trac bar from the 3/4ton. This is a pretty solid set up, with doing all of this i was able to change my steering over to the 3/4 ton stuff too! MUCH better!

HardcoreRider 08-23-2001, 06:41 PM Rudezuk....
I just found my new wall paper!! That thing is BADASS!! I am hoping to buy my dad's 96 from him when he goes for a new dodge! It's a 3/4 ext. cab with cummins, I think I can clear 38's with a 6", do you? If not, 36's would be fine! Truly awesome job on your dodge, and if you don't mind me asking, how have you invested, ballpark, in it?
UZI 9mm 08-24-2001, 11:20 AM how the hell do you get in and out of it?
are you tall like giraffe?
cool that you haven't put those hideous nerfs on (or worse yet-those "hoop" steps... )that hang down and look homer simpson ~uhuhhhhuuhhh~ shudder.that's usually the killer of cool looking big trucks in my opinion.
do you have vicious attack dogs 'n things to keep theives from nicking it? i couldn't own something like that if i couldn't put it in a bank vault at night! i'd never get any sleep sitting up with baseball bats looking out my window to see if anyone was eyeballin' my ride...
Rudezuk 08-24-2001, 12:27 PM Hardcore....Not sure on the 38's...if you did a body lift too, you would make it, but 36's for sure...and if you do that why not go witht the 36x14's? Makes it look a little bigger...i think for a total invested in it not including the truck is somewhere around 10k.
Uzi...im 6' so i just hop in and jump out...the fun part is the date thing!!!...if you cant lift her in, then she doesnt need to go!
UZI 9mm 08-24-2001, 12:50 PM haha no doubt girls+skirts+tall truck = good view better if you're helping them out than in.
well i guess that depends on which is the preferred side to oggle... being a canuck of course i prefer a girl's...back bacon
o.k. now how do you squish that giraffe body into a 'zuke as well? haha
Rudezuk 08-26-2001, 08:13 PM Just becaues im 6' doesnt make me fat....lol
im pretty skinny just tall...i fit in my zuk just fine!!
FullWidth 08-31-2001, 11:13 PM so they make a 10" suspension lift for the doges??
Rudezuk 09-05-2001, 04:33 PM Yeah call Whiplash they have a 10" kit for it, they may have a 12" now??
BrdPraey 09-06-2001, 09:02 AM YEA , NOW THAT LOOKS GOOD I WANT ONE
Ten_Bucks 09-14-2001, 04:07 PM Allan,
6" of lift on your truck will be more than enough to clear 38s w/o a body lift or fender trimming. I know this because 2 years ago I installed a Dick Cepek 6" lift on my ex-girlfriend's '98 3/4 ton shortbed (ahem) Cummins-powered Ram. We put 38x15.50R16.5 Dick Cepek Radial F-Cs on it on 16.5x12 Weld Super Single rims. Just my $.02
