I've been lookin at tow rigs / daily drivers in the $4k range lately, and there aren't many fullsizes i like which is makin it difficult. yeah i know i'm just puttin more work on myself. anyways, there are a ton of early 90s full size broncos around here and i'm thinkin about lookin at some. I'm thinkin like a 90-93 with a 351 4x4. Whats the tow rating on these things? think i could comfortably tow a rig on a trailer (about 5-6k lbs combined)? whats the tow rating on one? Also i'm not a ford guy so what parts are under it, and whats the reliability like, and how much of a PITA is it to work on. Thanks guys.

Yes, you can tow with one. It's probably around 6K tow rating.

I was plenty happy with this setup for occasional towing, and it only had the 5.0 :)

A little short for my tastes, but workable.
I'd prefer a manual, but thats just me.
I wonder if you could put F-250 springs in back???
Might make the unloaded ride a little harsh, but would help my peace of mind.
