chevypower 01-31-2010, 09:42 PM well getting down to some of the details now so things take time to do a nice job, steering is slow going but will get there in time, interior is just about done just wiring now, got some rims n tires haha :flipoff2: just have piss around now cutting up some of the wheels and weld some centers in and they will be ready to go.
chevypower 01-31-2010, 09:44 PM more pics
timothyalderson 02-01-2010, 12:49 AM What tires and wheels are those? I like those!
chevypower 02-01-2010, 05:44 AM 18.4x16.1 firestones 8ply's , the wheels are off of whatever tractor or machinery thease came from, i have a total of 6 tires and wheels, two have a large rim center offset for duals, have to cut them out and make centers for the wheels that match.
bronkho31 02-01-2010, 06:07 AM Sweet build...nice tubework....too bad its a chevy...:flipoff2:

Cant you just use a 16'' 8 lug rim with those tires? Very cool build.
chevyforlife502 02-01-2010, 05:32 PM Ya nice work in am lovin the tire and rim selection subscribed for sure
chevypower 02-01-2010, 06:32 PM Cant you just use a 16'' 8 lug rim with those tires? Very cool build.
yes i could but i have the rims the tires came with and other rims to use for centers, the rims that came with the tires look to be a 3 peice design so narrowing them to the width i want should be easy and welding in centers that i can cut out of the rims i have can allow me to set my back spacing to what i want, i see an issue with the tires hitting the front springs while turning, and im cheep haha :flipoff2: build it myself, save some money and have a better product in the end. :D

So far on the list is new headers and exhaust system 1.75 primarys are not cutting it anymore and again get the exhaust up and out of the water.
Install new larger radiator and tin the back in around the rad for protection and to keep the mud out, had a near miss with a stick to the radiator.
Need more storage! behind the seat fills up fast, thats all i got for now. :flipoff2:
geo in a K5 12-09-2010, 11:47 PM I really like your build and I don't generally like truggys but fk u did it right !! It sure looks unstoppable especially with those tractor tires

Big_Brown_Is_In_Town 12-11-2010, 10:10 PM Nice rig. All that fancyness and custom crooked tail light work :flipoff2: and still using blocks in the rear? I'm kinda surprised they didnt jump out on the first trip or two. Especially with the ag tires.
chevypower 12-11-2010, 10:52 PM i may have missed it but what leaves are you useing?
Superlift 4 inch 52s up front and stock 3/4 ton rear 52s.

The_Punisher 01-04-2012, 10:46 PM Some questions for you if you don't mind.
Where did you buy the nice tall air filter and foam pre-filter? I would like the same thing for my 454 (once I finally build it). Looks like plenty of surface area for good airflow.
Do you regret the "hooders" or "zoomies" whatever you call them? Is there a loss from not having a common collector in the exhaust system such as an X pipe or H pipe?? Probably not a noticeable difference? I know a lot of mud trucks run them, but don't you have to worry about water/mud getting down in them? Do you cover them when the engine is not running? And where did you buy them?
Also, what's your wheelbase?
BigBadChevy 01-20-2012, 05:15 PM That is an awesome truck. Too bad about the trailor accident. Where do you go wheelin?
