does anyone here run driveshaft loops? is there any negative reason why i wouldnt want them? anyone know where a good place to get them is, and or any good write ups on building custom loops?

Depending on how far down it hung I think it would just be another thing to drag, or bash into your drive line:D

For the local mud runs around here we are required to have hoops. Alot of us are using cable since it isn't solid and does not create more drag.

I agree with oneton CV, you wont need loops if you have oneton CV:D

thats fine and dandy for people with that shaft. however, its not smart for me to buy one now, then have it completely remade next year when i put in new axles, then again when i put in an atlas. hence the reason i was exploring other, less expensive somewhat temporary options. im a poor ass college student who owes the man about 60 grand, so :flipoff2:

Go with them if nothing else...looks, they mean buisness :P
