Well I'm in Tucson but want to do something tomorrow and Saturday. Is Terminator part of Table Mesa? I was thinking Florence would be fun because I keep hearing that it has good stuff.

I just got my rig back together and am really new to Arizona trails since I just moved here a few months ago.

If you know where to go I'm down for tagging along.

its a pain , you might be able to get one tomorrow if the office is open otherwise you print an online forum fill out and mail it in which takes a while to get back
here it the form , the adress is on the bottom of the forum if you want to try and go to the office tomorrow and pick your permit right away
the price may have changed compared to the form but its good for a year

At Florence Junction the permit is for the state land, it is issued by the state land dept. in Phoenix, there is a office in Tucson but they don't issue the permits in Tucson.
The trails at Florence Junction (FJ) aren't on state land but you have to cross state land to get there.
I can't say you don't need a permit tobe able to wheel out there, but you can see why alot of guy's don't get one.
The state land permit allows you access to all state lands in AZ. Cost is $15/ calender year.
