So i see all over the web these local comps for the trail rigs. From zuks on 31s to rigs on 53's can be in these comps. My question is why dont we have one in oklahoma or close. I personally would love to get the chance to run in one mabey at disney or clayton. I think it would be a great chance to see the growing 4x4 group and all the diffrent rigs. Is there any other intrest in this? Im in Tulsa Oklahoma and have some zukis from 31s to 35s on them id like to see some chances to show what i got off and have a chance to get more people into the sport. Thank you to all who bother reading this and please reply on behalf if u think its a good ideal or not.
Thank you,
Ryan

Im 18 theres no way i could do it by my self. Im askin for help here it would have to be a group event and rules set forth to help with saftey. Then we would need a venue wich is where hogan could help. then competers and sponsors.

unless you've got people with some excellent business skills just set up a friendly, bragging rights comp. Getting sponsors and dealing with sanctioining bodies etc. is not worth the hassle for a single comp.
Setting up a series takes a LOT of time and effort. The returns on that effort are very small. Especially for a "stock/local" series.

Yes!!! The powers to be [GRDA (Grand River Dam Authority)] have issues with any competition involving cash prizes or trophies. I don't really know the whole story but they were pretty much interested if there was any prizes or trophies at the DC 2 race this past June.:shaking:
I am sure that Russ has the whole scoop on that...

Seems like on the GRDA property there can be no event that gives out awards to contestants. GRDA came down to the event at the Disney Challenge 2 and was asking around about what was happening but after they determined there where no prizes or money invloved they didn't try and stop it, not sure they liked it thou. Low key is the ticket.

Ks Rocks just north of Ft Scott Ks had and amature rock crawling comp last fall. It was a big hit and we will be doing 2 more next year. One in the spring before WEROCK and RROCK start up and one in the fall after the season is over. Keep an eye on www.ksrockspark.com for info. We post it up as soon as we get it.
Last fall we had 2 classes. 35 and under, and unlimited which was 35 and over. (keep in mind this is really geared to the 35 and under DD crowd.)
