What are you guys running for suspension? Does anyone run leafs and coils anymore, or is it all coilovers and triple bypass shocks?

Thanks

If its a jeepspeed then you have to run an off the shelf lift kit, so it would be coils and leafs. No coilovers allowed.:)

I use Deaver coils and leaf springs on the JS with King 2.0 Triple bypass shocks. Also using a Skyjacker short-arm kit on a XJ. Other say the long-arm works really well.

Give Deaver a call and pick their brain. They deal with a ton of JS suspensions.

Jeepspeed 1700 rules require you to run an off-the-shelf pre-approved kit and you must retain coils and leafs. The 3700 class is less restrictive.

I run a 3-link that Polyperformance manufactures. (I am also a dealer.) It is a long-arm kit. Currently, I am running Deaver coils and rear leafs. I've been working with Poly to develop some better front coil- more progressive.

For shocks, I run Fox 3.0 smooth bodies and 2.0 air bumps front and rear.

Other kits that are popular and people run are the Rubicon Express, Skyjacker, & Full Traction.

Why run the triple bypass shocks over standard shocks on your rig? Does the TB work WAY better and not fluctuate as much?

A triple bypass is much easier to tune/adjust. Many Jeepspeed guys are using them and I had a hard time deciding which way to go.

Ultimately, I chose 3" smooth bodies to get larger/stronger components and more fluid volume with the hopes of keeping the shocks cool. With only 12" of rear and 10" of front travel, shocks get warm quick.

You want a progressive spring??? THESE guys can make them for you and man, is their stuff ever nice! Dave should hook up with them, speck out the rates, and they will build a progressive tun as they not only can vary the diameter of the wire as they build the spring, but also the diameter of the coil to clear components and or give you more travel out of the same spring.

Good guys for sure...note that they are in Australia.
