I have a TH400 hooked to a NP205 that needs to find a new home. Trans needs rebuilt, but the 205 is in great shape. $350 obo. Southeast Nebraska.

what is wrong with the th400 exaclty and what year vehicle did it come out of

I'm not an Auto tranny guy, so I'm not sure what is exactly wrong with it. It was rebuilt for me and only lasted aprox. 10k miles before it burned the fluid and started slipping. He wouldn't warranty it b/c I was past the time frame on the warranty. I'm pretty sure it came out of an '80-'81 chevy 1 ton. I would have to verify, but I'm pretty sure it is a K case.
