I know this has been covered but couldent find anybody tonight running my combo I bought a new xj and a HP 44 and 9" out of a ford looking at running them full width with some 35's on 4.5" of lift and some bushwackers tring to keep it road legal and was wondering about the H2 rims. Anybody have some pics or a lead on some info?

HP D44 and a 9" from a Ford is a 5x5.5 and the H2s are 8 lug. Wheel adapters?
You could instead run a HD HP D44 and a D60 out of a 78-79 F-250 and that will be 8 lug.
Another option, but I'm not sure if they do it, is have the H2s recentered like they do with H1s for a 8 lug pattern.

Thanks for the repyl the front is out of a F250 and is allready 8 lug was gowing to try to get shafts made in 8 lug for the 9". (not sure if anybody is doing that) I have a 60 but hate to have a boat anchor for 35's. I looked at the H1's but couldent find anybody that recentered them in the 5-6" range. AS far as I know the H2's can not be recentered.

I completely understand not wanting a D60 on 35s. I've never actually seen 8lug shafts for a 9" but I'm sure someone does it. If not you can probably get some custom made.
I would sell the F-250 front and look for a 78-79 F-150 SuperCab model D44. These where leaf springs instead of radius arms so it is new identical to the F-250 D44 except it is a little narrower so it will actually be a better fit for your 9".
As far as the H1 centers, I believe Copperhead Fabrication make H1 centers in 5x5.5 bolt pattern, if you wanted to go with that flavor.

EDIT: I'm getting a little off track here, you originally asked about H2s. Sorry for the mini hi-jack.

can not recenter and h2. I would just go with a different wheel if you dead set on the 9"

Had some questions if you have the time.

What axles are you running?
What is the wms on them?
What size tire?
What is the width outside of tire to outside of tire?

get a D60 and shave it for better clearance.

yep do beleve I am just gowing to shave a 60 anybody have any pics of full bodied xj's on a 44/60 combo looking for lift and tire size refrences as well as width vs backspaceing. Thinking full width with H2's 5" lift with 35x12.50 tires and bushwackers not hard core but will get me on the trail and a extra 4x4 for the wife in the winters.
