I have been to all the places I know of and the cheapest is Del-Ton at nintey five bucks for a basic flattop upper with no bolt or barrel parts. I have seen lowers posted up on here for $65 so I know somewhere there has to be something cheaper:mad:

I am looking for two flat top uppers for two different builds (.300 Whisper and 7.62x25). Hopefully I can get some cheap to satisfy my urge to tinker with oddball calibers.

Well, I was going to suggest BrightFlashlights for a YHM upper @ $96 shipped, but that BCM price beats it (not sure about shipping though). Essential Arms has a stripped upper @ $80 but then you have to buy the trapdoor and forward assist for another $20. They can be a little steep on shipping.

Unless someone else knows of another, the BCM probably wins.

Any upper will run just fine without the cover and forward assist if you don't mind leaving the holes empty.
