How many people are running a custom built or modified pitman arm? Specifically I am curious about strength issues after welding a pitman arm.

Your's doesn't count, I am referring to stock fj parts since I built a custom arm from a fj60 pitman arm and a fj60 steering arm.

my pitman arm is stock, but my double steering arm is holding just fine, does that count?? BTW if you didnt know, its cast steel not cast iron, makes a big difference.
