I recently purchaced a 90 toyota ex cab and frame. There is still some ifs stuff on it, but mostly everything else is gone. My question is how much does one of these cab/frame combos weigh? I have a way to get it on the trailor with a fork lift, but my buddy and i are the only two who will be able to get it off, and there is no fork lift at my house. Any suggestions on how to go about this safely? I appreciate all the help.

This is how my dad, got my cab/frame off a trailer by ourselves:

Tie a rope from the rear of the frame to some fixed point in your shop (or where ever you are putting the truck). We then put a floor jack under the front crossmember and slowly drove the trailer out from under the truck. It should side off the trailer pretty easily. You can even "steer" the frame with the floor jack as it slides off. Just my $0.02
