Has anyone flipped a dana 300 behind a tf999? Reason I ask is that I can get my hands on a hp44/9" for f'ing cheap. Currently have a waggy wide track 44 that I was gonna convert to 5x5.5. I was going to clock my d300 flat anyway, so would it be better to flip the 300 and run a ford 44/9 combo? Or stick with my waggy 44/9" idea and still clock d300 flat?

I am about to do this behind a 727, but not sure if they're the same.

Buy those axles and just commit to making them work. You wanna come up Monday the 21st?

How about the 18th to the 21st? that should be enough time to help you put a motor in a willy resto and drink a few cases of beer

727 is fatter then the 999, meaning the middle area is larger around due to the heavier clutches and such, so if it works behind a 727 it will behind a 999
