I've searched and searched, tired of reading. I've found plenty of people running their 6 liter intakes backwards. Is it just as simple as turning it around or does the gaskets and/or fuel rails need to be turned with the intake? Just wanna do it right the 1st time round... THANX

Ive heard upside down is the hot ticket.

it only works if you use a heat gun and a dremel w/the 80grit sanding drum for a little forming and have to drill 4 extra holes, and use super copper gasket material sprayed on the intake seat as well as the rest of the mounting surfaces, but you have to let it pre dry for 9 days prior to trying to set it, then once it's on you may have to give it a tap or two with a 5lb sledge and then when you put the bolts on, you have to stake them or use Stage8 Super lock washers to keep all that coolness from coming apart at the seams.

THANXJust turn it around you can even reuse the gaskets.

If you found so many folks doing it then why don't you ask them how they did it?

In my experience unless you got a Nailhead Buick you won't be flipping any intakes around on a V8 engine.

You'll have to swap heads. The drivers side to the passenger and vice versa. Of course this puts your exhaust manifolds backwards also so swap those. Seeing as you've already turned everything around change the spark plugs as well. Oh and be sure to put the wires on right. You don't want it firing on the wrong cylinders at the right time

It's really easier since you're already backwards to change up a few things like your speech practices.
