Looks like fun. Saw your group going out, I took the Unimog out with our club and hit up Motino and a new trail that was much harder. Lots of snow the higher we went.

ps.....traffic on bear valley sucks......we "crawled" the last 1.5 miles to the fwy.....

Next time just take D street all the way to the 15. It's much faster :D

There are also several routes to get back to the 15 from the 138 via summit valley. Great pix. I saw that guy in Rod's truck and thought, wow, Rod looks different, it's been a while!

Thanks for the comments fellas! These pictures were taking in the Cougar Buttes area of Johnson Valley...the trail is called "Cakewalk" and runs pretty parrellel to "Bullfrog" trail there are a couple of other trails in the area as well. :)

both my mom and myself had a blast running with everyone saturday..she kept saying to me.."stay close to the blue truck if you can, he's fun to watch" thanks Rod for the entertainment hahahaha!!!!

Monkeyproof! You are welcome... My philosophy is if you arent there to have fun, then why be there? I had a blast and only broke a u-joint! I was happpy!! Marlon... I want that camera!! Those pics are almost unreal.. The trucks look like toys!! That must be some glass! To all... I had a great time and it was great to meet everyone! Lets do it again!

Nice to meet all you guys in person. Saphteemon thanks again for the tire! I had a blast. I am still getting used to wheelin the buggy. I need to start taking all the harder lines like Hutinrod and truck trader did. I am starting to get more confidence in myself and the buggy. Thanks for the great day you guys were great.

That area is alot of fun! Endless possibilities for new obstacles! Our club spends a fair amount of time playing out there.

I think this was the part I enjoyed the most. The actual trail itself isn't difficult, but you can find all the challenging lines you want out there. The other nice part is that you can find those tough little sections and still be close to the rest of the group. Good times for sure. :smokin:

The only thing that trip was missing was a sami.

I'd like to check that out next time!
